Sony Xperia L gets Android 5.0 Lollipop unofficially
The Sony Xperia L has joined the family of latest Android’s Lollipop operating system unofficially. Thanks to XDA’s member varun.chitre15, there is a pretty stable Sony Xperia L Android 5.0 Lollipop build based on AOSP sources. It is not fully bug-less but enough to taste latest Android version. We do not recommend this for a daily drive. You can experience errors with RIL, Wifi, Bluetooth and general connectivity.
Android L brings you couple of useful features. One best part of that it brings a simple metrical design interface while enhancing the usability of phone. So if you are excited for this Lollipop Xperia L port, make sure phone’s bootloader is unlocked. You must even make sure you have Fastboot properly configured. You need to flash this ROM using fastboot images. For more details, head over to XDA’s thread. Download and the Lollipop AOSP build and load it on your shiny Xperia phone.
