T-Mobile HTC Amaze 4G Gets Official Ice Cream Sandwich Update
Recently HTC released OTA Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich update for the HTC Sensation 4G, the update comes with changes and bug fixes such as Sense 3.6, improved system bar to open apps, resizable widgets and a new feature user like the most is faceunlock. HTC like to make its users happy with Ice Cream Sandwich, and just after a few days HTC has just released the OTA ICS update for the HTC Amaze 4G.
The update comes with similar changes to HTC Sensation 4G update. It based on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and has HTC Sense 3.6, not latest HTC Sense version 4.0 but it’s enough to make the users happy. The update comes with better System bar that allows you to easily open the recently closed apps.
Now you can resize all widgets such as clock, date and calendar, lock screen actions now include pull down notification option and you no need to unlock the device to adjust the volume, you can adjust volume while device is locked, the update also comes with data usage controls.
Of course now you have option to unlock the smartphone by looking on the device with the faceunlock feature, the update improve the battery life of device, text input and spell checking and menu structure.
Now on to upgrade your HTC Amaze 4G, first charge the battery of device because your device might get turned off during the installation of update, then open menu and go to Setting, then tap on About Phone, after that tap on HTC Software Updates and then check the options. However if it doesn’t work, make sure that your device connected with better internet connection and reboot the device for many times.
