Now a while ago, we saw a mod that enables the Galaxy Nexus users to use the NFC on their Samrtphone while the device is off or locked. Now a XDA developer member mayhemer has brought this mod for the flagship device of Korean company the Samsung Galaxy S3, as you all know well that the NFC of Samsung Galaxy S3 stock ROM NFC doesn’t work when the device’s screen is locked or off but with this mod, you’ll be able to use NFC on Galaxy S3 any time.
Currently two versions of MOD are available, first is lockscreen version that lets you to use the NFC when the screen is on but locked, no matter the device is locked with PIN or password, it will work and on the other hand second version is screeoff that allows you to make use of NFC anytime, you can use NFC even the device is in standby, the screen is off and it’s locked.
Near Field Communication (NFC) is available in number of Android devices and Android users are looking for new uses for NFC. With the passage of time, NFC has become a big part of Android tools and you can find number of tools that help NFC users but there’s a problem users are facing, it requires the screen to be on with the app running, it waste the battery life of device. But a recognized XDA developer member Geniusdog254 has developed a MOD for the Galaxy Nexus that allows you to get rid of this issue.
There are three MODs, NFC.apk runs at boot that lets you to scan NFC tags while the screen is complete off, it make NFC experience easier, try it. Another is screen off version that allows you always scan NFC tag, don’t turn the screen on or run anything else, touch the device to tag. The last one is lockscreen that allows you to scan a tag whenever the screen is on but not unlocked, no you can’t scan a tag when the screen is off with this mode but touch the power button to scan.

Finally HTC has revealed the latest HTC device “HTC Desire C”, HTC is one of my favorite mobile, if you take a bird’s eye view on the history of HTC devices, HTC made eye-catching designs of every smartphone, HTC One S and HTC One X is best example of them.HTC Desire C is latest Android device, the device will come with the latest version of Android “Ice Cream Sandwich” and HTC Sense 4.0.
The HTC Desire C is based around a 3.5-inch HVGA touchscreen and the device design is similar to HTC One X and One S. The phone has a 5 mega-pixel camera and also will feature alongside a second, NFC- equipped variant.
